Leah Amy, a Virgin Atlantic flight attendant, was very happy when the incident occurred during her flight. Jack and his family booked the upper class seats on the plane coming from New York and started their journey home. But then Jack gave his seat to Violet and they switched seats. Sitting directly next to the economy toilet, he didn’t even peek or ask for anything else on the plane. It was not something that he had to do to draw attention to himself, but it was done according to the kind heart that he had at the end of the word. The New Zealand Herald’s Amy added that Jack and Violet had made friends at the airport before the plane left.
Leay showed Amy Jack’s kind demeanor to the world and Violet, 88, who got his seat, worked as a nurse in both the UK and America. A knee replacement prevented her from going to New York to see her daughter. Jack managed to fulfill her dream of sitting in the front row. Jack’s selfless dedication turned into a great experience for Violet to have a beautiful and memorable destination that never materialized. Amy continued that she noticed that Violet was happy and in high spirits throughout the flight.
Violet had a beautiful smile on her face as Amy hugged her after dinner. She took a selfie and told her daughter that she wanted to show her fulfilled dream and at that time she didn’t have a phone or an email address. It is needless to say that Jack’s selfless act has touched the hearts of many in this wonderful incident that Amy posted on Facebook and 5.5k people have shared it on their Facebook pages for this reason.
