According to the New York Post, Alicia Dougherty is the mother of ten children – six adopted and four biological – and runs the “Dougherty Dozen,” a TikTok website where she keeps the world up to speed on her fascinating family’s activities.
However, one segment of the channel’s conversation, in which Alicia discussed how she is parenting her son and his adoptive twin siblings as triplets despite their varied races and heights, has gone viral.
Alicia reacted to a follower who had enquired about her “triplets” by saying:
“Our adopted twins and biological son, all of whom are in second grade, were born in 2014 and have been raised as triplets for the majority of their lives.”
They’ll tear you apart if you tell them they’re not triplets.”
People on social media appreciated Alicia’s action, and she was hailed for her kindness. Meanwhile, the three lads are completely dedicated to one another.
“You can tell how much love they have for one other no matter what skin color they have… triplets for life,” one reader said.
Alicia previously told The Sun newspaper that she has been ridiculed online because she has ten children. Despite the fact that she has adopted six children and provided them with a loving home and family, each of them has behavioral disorders and is diagnosed with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).
“People constantly posting on my videos stating they detest our smiles,” the wonder mom revealed. I suppose I’m prejudiced, but I believe they’re all perfect.
“Knowing that we are worthy of being our actual, honest selves brings happiness.” We are aware of the negative. We, on the other hand, dismiss it.
“We know it’s caused by other people’s concerns,” she says. “It’s all on them,” says the narrator. I appreciate those of you who have kept a watch on us over the last two weeks while we’ve been relentlessly trolled by sad, insecure people.
“I assure you, we’ll be OK.”
